Part 7 - how to depart from the De Aar

The weather forecast - windy day - was absolutly right. Time to dust off, have a rest, sleep and tomorrow we will continue. But man think and God change. Due to this terms we spend Christmas Eve with Des and Arnold and several German and Namibian pilots. We all are now like their childrem. Nevertheless, tomorrow we have to fly away.

 







Conditions are very weak again, we fly up in this cloudyless termic with difficulties. All pilots sit down on the ground earlier than they reach 50 km. Only Víťa overcomes this critical distance and in gradually improving conditions fly 160 km long flight. By chance, after 4 hours of flying, he lands at the same place as a week ago.
